RMACL values the dedication and expertise of its workforce. In hiring new staff RMACL considers only those applicants who have a demonstrated philosophical commitment backed by the education, skills, and experience to support people with developmental disabilities. In addition, employees are required to meet a number of prerequisite conditions including a cleared criminal record check, medical certification, and TB screening. Some positions also require a class 4 (professional) drivers’ licence. RMACL provides ongoing educational opportunities for employees through its Training and Development department.
