Celebrating another successful year of art and artists the Vicuna Art Studio is once again hosting a Gallery Show and Sales event.

Works from students will be on display and available for purchase. With a variety of acrylic and water colours Artistic Director Ilsa Philips notes there is “something for everyone at the show. There are small bright energetic pieces perfect for a punch of colour in a small space and large vibrant works from artists like Pamela Brown that work well in large interior spaces.”

Founding director and head instructor Maria Daley notes that she is most excited to see the growth of talent and painting skill that some of their long standing members are showing. “ You can really see the progression of talent and ability…its amazing adding that the name of the show” Los Colores de Primavera” which essentially translates as the colours of the spring truly captures the growth of the artists and the fresh life  that breathes from the works.

This year Burnaby’s Community Living Association’s Pottery Works will also be joining the show and will have select items for sale which as an added bonus for visitors and enthusiasts.

The local newspapers have provided some extensive coverage about the event and the articles can be read by following these links:

The show will run from 10:00 am until 4:00pm each day and all are encouraged to attend!
