Seasons Greetings

presentsAt this time of year RMACL is always a buzz with good tidings and good cheer.

This year was no exception, with special events and activities hosted throughout the agency. There were many small and intimate events such as the Christmas Carol sing along at Options Day program and larger and more boisterous events like the Annual Children’s Party. RMACL was also seen at several community events, often with RMACL program participants generously donating their time to help!

Once again however, the highlight of the holiday season was the return of the R.M.A.C.L. Christmas Banquet Dinner and Dance. Held at the Ridge Meadows Senior Society, guests were treated to a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, followed by a selection of sweets and treats. The bar was generously hosted by volunteers and DJ Dan Morrison played a great selection of music to keep the dance floor hopping. Even Mother Nature helped out by adding a sprinkle of snow to add to the décor!

For many people, these events are much anticipated jump starts to the Christmas Season, yet they also serve as a reminder that RMACL truly celebrates its members, member families, staff and the community at large.  In celebrating together we solidify our supports and retain these feelings of goodwill as inspiration throughout the calendar year.
